Design From WithinTM
The Brickell Interiors Approach to Intentional Interior Design
Beautiful homes don’t always feel right.
Often, that’s because they were designed around trends, inspiration, or resale value - not around the people who live there.
Design from Within begins somewhere different.
It begins with you.
What makes this home feel truly yours?
It's a deceptively simple question.
Yet in a world of endless inspiration images, luxury finishes, and beautifully curated spaces, it's easy to focus on what a home should look like before understanding what it should mean.
The most successful homes aren't simply beautiful.
They're personal.
They reflect the people who live there—their routines, values, memories, aspirations, and the way they want to feel when they walk through the door.
That's why the design process should begin with listening, not designing.
The most meaningful homes are not designed from the outside in.
They are shaped from within: guided by identity, grounded in lived experience, and protected by intentional decisions.

Designing a home isn’t about choosing a style or following trends. It’s about understanding you, how you live, what you value,
and what your home needs to support in this chapter of your life.
From there, every design decision becomes clearer, more purposeful, and more personal.
The result is a home that feels natural and authentic - not just beautiful.
Our conversation is guided to reveal the 3 layers that are the foundation of a home that is Designed from Within.
Identity
Identity is the foundation of your home. It reflects how you naturally experience space - what makes you feel comfortable, calm, energized, or protected. These preferences often exist beneath conscious awareness, yet they strongly influence how a space feels to you.

Narrative
While identity is enduring, life evolves.
Narrative reflects the chapter of life you’re in today and how your home needs to support it. Understanding your narrative allows us to design spaces that support your real life, not an idealized version of it.
Intentionality
How Decisions Are Made
Once identity and narrative are clear, we move into the final layer: intentional decision-making. At this stage, clarity becomes a filter for every design choice.
Intentional living means being thoughtful about:
• What your home needs to do exceptionally well
• What it can intentionally leave out
• Where to invest attention, quality, and resources
• What trade-offs are worth making to protect what matters most
These priorities guide decisions about layout, materials, furnishings, lighting, and finishes.
They also help your home remain cohesive and authentic long after trends change.
